About the Cell…

The Student Grievance Redressal Cell (SGRC) at Tulaskar Institute of Science and Technology has been established to create a healthy, transparent, and student-friendly environment within the institute. The cell provides a formal mechanism for students to register their concerns, complaints, or suggestions related to academics, administration, facilities, conduct, or welfare. The Cell ensures that all grievances are addressed confidentially, fairly, and promptly as per the guidelines of AICTE and institutional policies.

Objectives of the SGRC…

  • To provide students with a platform to express their concerns without hesitation.
  • To ensure fair, impartial, and timely resolution of grievances.
  • To create transparency and accountability in academic and administrative processes.
  • To promote a supportive and respectful campus environment.
  • To strengthen the student–institution relationship and enhance overall student satisfaction.

 

Functions of the SGRC

  • Receive written, online, or verbal grievances from students.
  • Acknowledge and review the grievance in a time-bound manner.
  • Interact with the concerned departments/staff for resolution.
  • Recommend corrective measures wherever necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation of cases.
  • Report grievance outcomes to higher authorities as per norms.

 

Types of Grievances Handled…

The SGRC addresses issues related to:

  • Academic matters (teaching, evaluation, attendance issues)
  • Administrative concerns
  • Availability/quality of facilities (labs, classrooms, library, hostels, sanitation)
  • Behavioural issues
  • Discrimination or unfair treatment
  • Any other matter affecting student welfare

 

How Students Can Submit a Grievance

Students may submit their grievances through any of the following modes:

  1. Grievance Submission Box placed in the Administrative Block
  2. Email: tistStudentgrievancecell@gmail.com
  3. Direct submission to any SGRC member during working hours

All complaints are handled with confidentiality and sensitivity.

Redressal Process…

  1. Receipt of grievance
  2. Scrutiny by the SGRC
  3. Interaction with concerned party/department
  4. Recommendation & corrective action
  5. Communication of outcome to the student
  6. Closure of case & documentation
