General Conduct
- Every student shall maintain discipline, honesty, integrity, and dignity within and outside the campus.
- Students shall respect the Constitution of India, institutional values, and all applicable laws.
- Students shall behave respectfully towards faculty members, staff, visitors, and fellow students.
- Students shall maintain cordial relationships and promote harmony irrespective of caste, religion, gender, language, or region.
Attendance
- Students must attend all lectures, practical’s, tutorials, seminars, and academic activities regularly.
- A minimum attendance prescribed by RTM Nagpur University/AICTE shall be mandatory to appear in examinations.
- Students must report to classes on time.
Dress Code
- Students shall wear decent, neat, and formal attire.
- College Identity Card must be displayed at all times inside the campus.
- Wearing indecent, offensive, or inappropriate clothing is prohibited.
Academic Discipline
- Students shall complete assignments, projects, practical journals, and presentations within the prescribed time.
- Copying, plagiarism, cheating, impersonation, or any form of academic misconduct is strictly prohibited.
- Use of unfair means during examinations shall invite disciplinary action.
Campus Behaviour
- Students shall maintain cleanliness of classrooms, laboratories, library, and campus.
- Damaging college property is prohibited.
- Students shall conserve electricity, water, furniture, and laboratory equipment.
Library Rules
- Maintain silence inside the library.
- Books shall be returned on or before the due date.
- Loss or damage of books shall be compensated by the student.
Laboratory Rules
- Follow laboratory safety instructions.
- Use equipment carefully.
- Report damaged equipment immediately.
- No practical work shall be performed without faculty supervision.
Mobile Phones and Electronic Devices
- Mobile phones shall remain on silent mode during lectures, practicals, seminars, and examinations.
- Recording audio/video without permission is prohibited.
- Unauthorized photography or videography inside the campus is not permitted.
Anti-Ragging
- Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited.
- Students involved in ragging shall face strict disciplinary and legal action as per UGC and AICTE regulations.
- Every student shall cooperate in maintaining a ragging-free campus.
Anti-Sexual Harassment
- Every student shall respect the dignity and privacy of others.
- Sexual harassment in any form is prohibited.
- Complaints shall be dealt with by the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC).
Substance Abuse
- Smoking, tobacco, alcohol, narcotic drugs, or any intoxicating substance is strictly prohibited inside the campus.
- Possession or distribution of such substances will invite severe disciplinary action.
Cyber Ethics
- Students shall use the internet, computers, Wi-Fi, and digital resources responsibly.
- Hacking, cyberbullying, identity theft, illegal downloads, or misuse of institutional IT facilities is prohibited.
Student Activities
- Participation in cultural, sports, NSS, and co-curricular activities is encouraged.
- Students shall follow the instructions of event coordinators during institutional activities.
Environmental Responsibility
- Maintain a clean and green campus.
- Avoid littering.
- Participate actively in tree plantation, cleanliness, and sustainability initiatives.
Vehicles and Parking
- Vehicles shall be parked only in designated areas.
- Rash or unsafe driving inside the campus is prohibited.
- Students shall follow all traffic rules.
Respect for Institutional Property
- Any damage to classrooms, laboratories, library resources, furniture, computers, or other institutional property shall be recovered from the concerned student(s), along with disciplinary action.
Grievance Redressal
- Students may submit grievances through the Student Grievance Redressal Cell.
- Every grievance shall be handled fairly, confidentially, and without retaliation.
Disciplinary Action
- Violation of institutional rules may result in one or more of the following actions:
- Verbal or written warning
- Parent/guardian meeting
- Fine or compensation for damages
- Suspension from classes or activities
- Debarment from examinations or institutional activities
- Cancellation of admission or expulsion in serious cases
- Any action as prescribed by RTM Nagpur University, AICTE, UGC, or competent statutory authorities. The Maharashtra Universities Act empowers university and institutional authorities to maintain discipline and take disciplinary action where required.
