Admission Process of MBA
CAP Admission Steps for MBA
- MAH CET Registration & Exam (if not already done):
- Apply and appear for MAH-MBA CET or valid national-level exams
- CAP Registration on CET Portal:
- Visit: https://mba2025.mahacet.org (URL may change each year)
- Register and fill the CAP application form
- Upload scanned documents
- Pay the CAP registration fee
3. Document Verification (E-Scrutiny):

- Online verification via E-Scrutiny Centre
- Candidates must get documents verified within the timeline
- Display of Merit Lists:
- Provisional Merit List is published first
- After resolving grievances, the Final Merit List is displayed
- Option Form Filling for CAP Rounds:
- Fill choices of institutes and courses (MBA programs) in order of preference
- Example: Tulaskar Institute of Science and Technology (TIST)
- Seat Allotment – CAP Round 1, 2, & 3:
- Seats are allotted based on merit + preferences + category
- Allotment is published on the portal
- College Reporting & Fee Payment:
- If seat is allotted, report to the college physically or online (as per guidelines)
- Submit original documents and pay fees to confirm the admission

Admission Steps in BBA Admission Through CAP
- Online Registration at DHE Portal:
- Visit the official website of Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Maharashtra
- Fill the CAP application form with accurate details
- Upload required documents
- Pay the registration fee
- Document Verification:
- Submit documents for verification at a Facilitation Centre (FC)
- E-Scrutiny (online verification) is also allowed
- Provisional Merit List:
- DHE will publish a provisional merit list based on 12th marks
- Final Merit List & Option Form Submission:
- Check the final merit list
- Fill the Option Form by selecting preferred colleges (e.g., TIST) and course (BBA)
- Seat Allotment (CAP Round 1, 2, 3):
- Based on your merit and preferences, seat allotment is done in CAP rounds
- Check allotment online through your login
- Confirm Admission in College:
- If allotted a seat, report to the college within the deadline
- Submit original documents and pay fees to confirm admission

Admission Steps – Through CAP (Centralized Admission Process)
- Online Registration at DHE Portal:
- Visit the official DHE Maharashtra Admission Portal (https://bcap2025.mahacet.org*)
- Register and fill out the CAP Application Form
- Select your preferred colleges (e.g., TIST)
- Document Upload & Verification:
- Upload scanned copies of required documents
- Attend E-Scrutiny Center or Facilitation Center (FC) for document verification
- Provisional Merit List:
- DHE releases a provisional merit list based on 12th marks and preferences
- Final Merit List & Option Form Submission:
- Check the final merit list
- Submit Option Form for CAP Round 1 (select institute/course preferences)
- Seat Allotment & Reporting:
- Check your seat allotment result online
- If allotted TIST, report to college with documents & pay fees to confirm seat
- CAP Round 2 & 3 (if required):
- If seat not allotted or not accepted, participate in further CAP rounds
Admission Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria For MBA
- Graduate in any stream from a recognized university
- Minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories)
- Must have appeared for MAH-MBA CET / CMAT / CAT / ATMA / MAT / XAT or equivalent entrance exam.
Eligibility Criteria For BBA
- Passed 10+2 / HSC or equivalent examination from a recognized board
- Minimum 45% marks for Open category (40% for reserved categories)
- Students from any stream (Science/Commerce/Arts) are eligible
- Passed MAH BBA CET Exam mandatory

- Must have studied Mathematics or Statistics at 10+2 level
