Event Objectives

The primary objective of the expert session was to provide students with an in-depth understanding of smart management practices in the contemporary business environment driven by Artificial Intelligence. The program aimed to create awareness about emerging technologies such as AI, Robotics, and IoT, and their growing influence on managerial decision-making, operational efficiency, and organizational strategy. Another important objective was to strengthen industry–academia interaction and guide students toward future-ready skills and career opportunities.

Proceedings

The Department of BBA & MBA, under the guidance of the Seminar & Webinar Committee, organized a one-day expert session on “Smart Management in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” on 31 December 2025 at the Board Room, TIST, Hinganghat. The program was organized to enhance students’ understanding of technological advancements and their application in modern management practices.

The session began with a formal welcome address, followed by the introduction of the Guest Faculty, Ms. Deoyani Dhanjode, who is a Technology Educator and Operational Executive at PHN Technology, Pune, with professional experience in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and IoT.

During the lecture, Ms. Deoyani Dhanjode explained the concept of smart management and how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping traditional management functions such as planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling. She highlighted the role of AI-powered tools in data-driven decision-making, predictive analytics, automation of business processes, and operational optimization.

The guest faculty also discussed real-world applications of Robotics and IoT in industries such as manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and smart enterprises. Practical examples and case scenarios were shared to help students understand how technology-driven management improves productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness.

Special emphasis was laid on the importance of continuous learning, adaptability, and the development of digital and analytical skills for management students in the rapidly evolving technological landscape.
