Event Objectives

The NSS Department played an active role in organizing and coordinating the celebration. The programme provided students with an opportunity to develop leadership, communication, teamwork, cultural awareness, social responsibility, and patriotic values.

The event was conducted in a disciplined and enthusiastic manner with active participation from students and staff members of all the participating institutions.

Proceedings

The celebration commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The dignitaries addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of Independence Day, patriotism, national unity, social responsibility, and the contribution of young citizens towards nation-building.

Students from the participating institutions presented a variety of cultural programmes, patriotic songs, speeches, and other performances. The performances reflected the rich cultural diversity of India and created an atmosphere of patriotism and pride among the audience.

The speeches delivered by the students focused on the freedom struggle, sacrifices of freedom fighters, fundamental duties, national integration, and the role of youth in building a strong and progressive India.

Outcomes

The Independence Day celebration contributed to the holistic development of students and supported the institution’s commitment towards value-based education, community engagement, cultural awareness, and responsible citizenship. The programme promoted:
